3D theatre
Levenmouth Academy
3D theatre at Levenmouth Academy is a youth theatre class for young people between primary six and first year at high school specifically as this is age where young people are transitioning from primary to high school.
3D means taking these three elements of youth theatre to make up our classes : drama, devising, dance.
In our weekly classes we play drama games to learn the core skills of youth theatre and we are currently working towards putting on productions within class for an invited audience before we begin sharing our work with the wider community.
A Midsummer Nights Dream
Lyceum Youth Theatre - Summer on Stage 2019
I worked on A Midsummer Nights Dream by William Shakespeare directed by Katie Mitchell, as the assistant director for Summer on Stage 2019 at the Lyceum. As the assistant director I had the privilege to work with a very dedicated, talented and superb bunch of young people. We take a play and turn it into a full scale professional production in two weeks with those that sign up to the project. You can check some of the production images below.
